Work is performed on a ‘labor plus materials’ basis. Due to the nature of boat renovation, it is almost impossible to quote specific jobs. Estimates given are to be used as a guideline and not a final charge. Monthly invoices sent with the number of hours worked plus any materials, taxes and other expenses for that billing period.  Payment can be made with check, Visa, or MasterCard.  The hourly rate is $42.

Travel is computed at $0.40/mile round trip and includes deliveries and supply gathering. A travel fee is charged for preliminary inspections, but may be deducted from the invoice. For extended travel, a per diem charge is added. For consultations and inspections alone, a fee of $50/hr. may be charged.  Rates subject to change.  Taxes may apply.

Upon acceptance of a work proposal, an initial fee shall be paid to act as a deposit and start-up fee. The initial fee is determined by the particular job. Final payment is due upon completion of the project. Credits will be issued on the final invoice. Projects left over 30 days may be subject to a storage fee.
