This
summer we are spending a couple
of weeks in a cottage on a lake
in Maine. We're just relaxing
-- fishing, canoeing, panning for
gold, visiting my relatives. Tami
is continuing her flying lessions
up here -- she just buzzed our cottage.

Happy

Our
part of the world is experiencing
record breaking droughts. Some
nearby towns have only 50 days of
water remaining. Trees are
starting to die. Folks are
starting to pray for a hurricane
as we need about 20" of rain.
We only expect to get 3-4"
all winter, so it may get interesting.

It's
too hot to really enjoy camping

Canoeing is fun, but only
if you can jump in to cool off.

We
recently returned from a wonderful
vacation in Northern California.
(See pictures in our Adventures
section). We visited San Francisco,
Napa, and points north. The
kids are growing like weeds.
